We are FL Non Profit Corporation with a 501(c)3 tax exempt status. The past and present activities of Mikes Dog House, Inc have been simply the rescue of good, adoptable dogs from death row and abusive situations and posting them on the web so that people who are looking to adopt, can see them. Mike's Dog House is a great organization that takes in many dogs that people can't care for anymore. They provide rescue, rehabilitation, medical care, and find the best adoptive families. However, as more and more people are giving up their dogs,fewer people are donating to shelters, and Mike's Dog House is now in need of funds to help special need dogs like Cherub.

Cherub, a gorgeous mommy dog with 8 babies, is in need of some financial assistance. Cherub arrived at Mike's Dog House Rescue, a 501(C)3 non-profit rescue, with 8 babies. She had been nearly starved to death. Once again, another "backyard breeder" was making a few bucks on the lives of the innocent. After a Vet check, it is known that she is heartworm positive and had been feeding her babies from her bones, heart muscle, liver and Kidneys...the only major organs her body will consume for the survival of not only her, but her babies, as well. All she has ever known is pregnancy and deprivation and yet she is the sweetest and most loving soul. When she arrived here, she was a walking skeleton. Cherub has finally gained some weight and is thriving on the love and attention that has eluded her in her short life. Miraculously, all 8 babies are thriving and have become "love hogs." However, they are currently 2.5 weeks behind in their development. They are so precious because all 8 want lovins at once.
Please help Cherub get her heartworm treatment. Without treatment, her outlook is extremely grim. She is suffering from a more advanced case of heartworm, and we need to raise money so she can begin treatment immediately and be spayed! This poor girl has been through so much pain in her life. Let her have the chance to finally be healthy, happy, and around people that truly love her.
